As a previous bank manager, I knew I needed a career that I had more of a passion for. After the arrival of my son, and with the help of my husband Dion, we opened up our home for the first time to look after dogs while their owners went away. With a long family history of dog care providers and an obvious lack of comfortable, quality boarding options available to the average dog owner, I knew I wanted to provide a kennel free, home away from home for well socialized dogs who could fit in with our family.

Our family of 3 live on a wooded 5 acre property in rural North Milton, Ontario - where you can usually find our Newfoundland named Brody roaming around out back trying to sneak a swim in the pond. We have a 4 year old son who is absolutely overjoyed on a daily basis from the companionship of all his doggy friends.

Since the beginning of Meg's Dog Sitting, my goal has always been to provide a safe and happy second home to our dog guests, providing them with plenty of exercise, love and individual attention. I can now say I have one of the best jobs in the world. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days with the companionship of so many adorable, wonderful dogs. The dogs that stay with me have truly become members of our family.
